4. Open up Windows Explorer. Find your Freedom Force folder. If you don't know where it is, try searching for fforce.exe. that file will be in your Freedom Force folder. In your Freedom Force folder there should be a Data folder. in the Data folder there should be an Art folder. If there is a library folder in the Art folder, go to step 4a. If not, go to step 4b.

4a. If there's a characters folder in the library folder go to step 4, if not, then create a characters folder in the library folder so it looks like below:



4b. Create a library folder in the art folder. then create a characters folder in the library folder. See above for the finished results.

5. Create a model_name folder in the characters folder, where model_name is the name of the model. In the example above, you would create a thug1 folder in the characters folder. Create a skins folder in the model_name folder Example below:



6. Switch back to your zip program of choice. Check the path column. Now remember what it is, because you'll need it for the next step.

7. Now, press the Extract button. Your screen should look similar to this:



8. You will only do either 8a or 8b, but not both.

8a. If the path column just has the name of the skin as the example above does, make sure 'Use Folder Names' is checked and unzip the zip into the model_name\skins directory where model_name is the name of the model. See the example below:



8b. If the path column is blank or anything else but just the skin's name, uncheck 'Use Folder Names' and unzip the zip into the model_name\skins\skin_name directory where model_name is the name of the model and skin_name is the name of the skin. You will have to manually type the name of the skin after the backslash (\) after 'skins' in the box under 'Extract to:'. See the example below:



9. Look at that! You installed the skin!
