<p>Irrational Games (Boston) is looking for a talented AI & Gameplay Programmer to work on an exciting new next-generation console and PC project. This position is open to candidates with significant experience in gaming or related industries.
<p>Irrational believes in cutting-edge technology married to great game design. Programmer input is a significant part of our game design process, so you should be passionately interested in game development as well as writing great code. We are particularly interested in programmers who have both technical skills and care about how that technology can be used to make games more fun.
<p>Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Working with the Lead AI Programmer to develop, maintain, and document new and existing AI related systems</li>
<li>Developing custom high-level AI behaviors</li>
<li>Working with the design and art teams to determine a feasible approach to implementing assigned game system tasks</li>
<li>Coordinating with the lead and other programmers on scheduling and implementation concerns</li>
<li>Generating technical specification, planning, and design documents for assigned tasks</li>
<li>Implementing AI & game systems according to schedule</li>
<li>Generating system usage documents and test cases for assigned systems</li>
<li>Developing tools and core engine technology as necessary to assist the art and design teams</li>
