What was your scariest SS2 moment?Hum... there are some scary moments that gives me the creeps, but I think I choose when I had to walk across the frakking row of turned-off robots inside their cages, not knowing if they were going to jump over and kill me! Although it was hard to listen to The Many whispering at your ear... ~_~U |

Engineering Deck. A nightmare to get through. I build up my hacking skills as quickly as possible and hacked every turret in the area. Hearing lasers being fired at a hybrid down the corridor and knowing you don't have to deal with it is a nice feeling. |

I remember when I first played that game. The lights were off throughout the house. Parents went out, brother at the movies. Me, geeking out on my new video game. I was already apprehensive and nervous in the tutorials. The emptiness of everything. The ambient sounds. Then I wake up in the Von Braun. Within minutes I am running for my life, knowing the terrible, terrible things may wait for me. Knowing that Shodan, an old enemy was somehow involved. Not trusting the voice that speaks to me, filled with some venom or animosity. I survive a brief run for my life (wondering, can I really die this early in the game?!?), and in a room offering brief respite... I see... a ghost. After I ruin a pair of pants, I save and quit for the night. What an introduction. |

In the beginning of the game, when you don't have any good weapons and no ammo, I was in some of the offices searching for medikit, 'cos my health was very low and suddenly an enemy appeared behind the window. I thought that it's a heart attack for a minute. |

Mmm... the whole game got me in one way or another, but the two that stick out most for some reason was on the first deck (I think it was the first deck) when that body falls through the celing and hangs by a wire right in front of you. Although, I think the only reason that startled me was because I had the sound all the way up and hadn't looked from the screen since I started playing. It was one of those moments that shouldn't have scared me, but because the mood was perfect I jumped. The other is when you get to "meet Polito". I got into that office and thought that i had really screwed up somewhere so she was dead. I panicked for a moment, but quickly realized it was supposed to happen that way. |

Navigating droid storage on Engineering was a nerve-wracking experience, even on repeat play-throughs. Also the first time you get a message from Korenchkin when you encounter the psionic barrier to the Rickenbacker. "Our will creates a wall to block your progress. Come and meet us on the bridge of the Von Braun. Let us discuss your future." Somehow I didn't think he actually wanted to discuss anything. |

It was most likely the ghost you meet just before the elevator to command control, the one that says goodbye to his wife and kids before shooting himself. It was at that point I started e-mailing my friends saying, "Look, you have to buy this game, it's awesome". Whoever orchestrated the Prefontaine sequence needs an award or something. After the first few logs you tend to think twice about listening to the next one; because you want to hear what happened, but then again, you don't. |

Whenever, especially in the Cargo bays, when you are on one floor, and you can here the enemies on a different floor, and you can hear them talking or making whatever noise they make... just.... creepy... or whenever you are in a showdown with cyborg ninjas... AND YOUR GUN BREAKS!!!! Awesome system... I LOVE IT! |

The most terrifying moment for me was playing with the sound turned up in a dark room, leaning into the screen in anticipation only to have my mother reach across in front of me and make my heart stop because I hadn't known she was there. |

My scariest moment had to be looting an "empty" deck and hearing a door open nearby then hear "I'M SOOOOOOOOOOORY" then getting whacked in the head with a wrench. |

Walking straight towards a large door on deck 4 and a hybrid with shotgun is doing exactly the same thing at the same time on the other side of the door (x_x) Oh! And running around the Many's Brain like a headless chicken, hunted by at least 4 rumblers... |
