SWAT 4 was great, great AI, great singleplayer, great multiplayer!

I really liked SWAT 4. A new tactical shooter by Irrational would be greater, whether SWAT based or something else *wink wink*.

Multiplayer gagged with its pepper spray weapons...

But indeed SWAT5?

My fondest memories of online gaming are playing SWAT4 with clannies; What I would give to wield a beanbag shotgun again . . .

I am joint leader of a clan of nearly 100 active members in Swat 4. I have played it for many years and its easy to see why it is so popular from the first moment you play it. However Swat addicts are being tempted away from our beloved game by other new fps titles which are being released thick and fast. If we could be rewarded with a new Swat Title I for one will do my best to ensure all our members make the switch too.

I am Higher Council of an important clan in SWAT4. We Organized Tournaments and many Clanwars with our friends and all the different Clans, to let the game stay alive !

We were suxessfull on our way to keep this game alive, played and even visited by new people !

To get a new part of this awesome serries would make many ppl happy. We have players who play SWAT4 since the release, which is a very long period of time!

We are still waiting and hoping for a continue, and join this game instantanoius !

You guys are sitting on a gold mine and you don't even know it. SWAT 4 is still more popular than games that have been released recently (like Americas Army). It is still ranked #43 on xfire... that's pretty DAMN GOOD for an old game.

I play Swat 4 3,5 year and really love this game! I know many clans and people which want new swat we get little boring play same game so long time! We want this one beatiful day on which we will start play new Swat People which start play CoD4 now back to Swat because swat is great team game with full of tactic which u need to learn and know. Swat 4 is really good game but plz guys make new and better Swat !

Well I might be wrong but isn't it Sierra(Or whatever company that now owns it) that have the legal rights to the SWAT franchise? So I guess our best hope is they make their own new stand-alone squad-based tac-combat game.

Watch at amazon u will find it in uk or germany ! and then u use free language pack in the language u prefer !

I was working in one of biggest market net selling games in poland, sadly I can say that its hard to find SWAT4 game or extension in stores here :/ SWAT4 is less popular that old damn CS here, but its just matter of marketing and distribution. As someone said, this game have great potencial and with good advertising it can be rise back of one of the greatest title in the history.

This is unique game and have even maybe more fans than old Fallout or X-com series. Idea of refreshing Fallout by Bethesda was great - now its bestseller, can be similar or much better with SWAT series. dont waste your occasion Irrational games :] You all can be ritch...

bring next version..swat4 have many fans so i would be sure swat5 would have many ppl playing for sure if have multiplayer like the multiplayer from swat4..rd,vip bs and maybe new mods ..and would be nice have anti-cheat ...anyway this is just dreams hope you guys can make it truth xD waiting for swat5... ^^

I play SWAT 4 since it started and still do, although not so often now. I played all the time for about 5 years. It’s an amazing game, and tactically the best I’ve seen so far – even comparing with the famous ones these days.

There always will be people who love SWAT series and they are waiting for a new one for a very long time.

I’ve read some things about why SWAT 5 didn’t get release few years ago, but don’t know if it’s true and I won’t talk specificly about it here. However, I’ll just say feed-back from old SWAT members would only benefit Irrational Games; this feed-back could’ve even helped SWAT 4 with their expansions, since they weren’t that well recognized by the Community of SWAT in general – just an example.

Add me too, pls. I play Swat 4 since demo, like much here. But.. who own legal rights to brand ? Isn't Sierra (actually: Activision Blizzard) ? Same question about S.Shock: isn't owned by EA ?
Always Irrational can start new title: lookin like most 'veteran' devs still onboard QeD: 'Not titles make games, only people'.

You guys know the new standards of modern 1st-person-shooters !

Like kniffing, liing down, jump, sprint, .... these things are common at modern games and missing at SWAT4, which is a main point of the "oldness" of the game !

If you play a modern computergame and then after some hours playing it you come back to SWAT ... there will be situations where u use automatically ur knife or try to jump-kill.

You will notice fast all these things should be added in a new game.

It should be based on the gameplay of SWAT4, like someone said it here its a "gold-mine".

Lots of ppl loved the game (some still do) and a new game on the standards of modern games, like grafic and gameplay, has to be made, sticked to the swat serries !

I have to respectfully beg to differ; knifing and jumping do not a modern shooter make; besides, if you want those, there\'s already several very well-established games that have them.

Half of the appeal of SWAT 4 is that it\'s still a \'tactical\' shooter and that it offers something intrinsically different from other shooters; adding features to make the game closer to COD or CS seems entirely contrary to the whole point of games like the SWAT series, or the earlier Rainbow Six games.

That\'s just my opinion, however. Still, it sounds like you\'re suggesting a SWAT game with MW2 features added would be the way to go. To me that sounds, well, really horrifying.

In some way u are right, if u say it is based at tactic ! I mean it like that and i dont want to compare it with MW2, since the game idea is a total different !

In SWAT it is baes on tactics like u said, which made the game awesome and loved by many clans !

U will agree with me if i tell u it is possible for a "real-swat-team" to use their knife if the ammo goes of ! just as example !

I want the game as i said, based on the idea of SWAT-Serries, but with the common and realistic gameplay !
