Any comic fans out there?I could never stop reading them. I love good writing and artwork. So is there any comic fans out there? What do you like? What do you think of comics turned into games, or games turned into comics? I just heard that one of my long time comics will be gracing consoles. Top Cow's Witchblade and Buzz Monkey developer are currently looking for a publisher. Here's the article http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=27423. So I'm excited and no one I know likes comics. Anyone? |

I'm still waiting breathlessly for the conclusion to Fear Agent. Easily one of my favorite series next to Preacher. I prefer comics as novels, ie I'd rather buy them collected and beautifully bound. My hardcover of From Hell is one of the most beautiful books in my bookshelf. |

Yes! I loved Preacher. Religious twists, and dark humor are high on my list. I was into it a long time ago, don't know what happened to those. I may just look into a trade. Any one stand out? Alan Moore has some great books. I once looked for the collected version of From Hell, too much money for me. |

Who would win in Deadpool vs Wolverine(all biases aside, lol) |

Clarify win. Does victory mean killing on of them forever? If that's the case we know Deadpool can live without a head so that gives him a leg up. If it's a temp victory thing, like incapacitation, it goes to Wolverine all the way. IMHO |

I was thinking winning in a fight. Your right. I can see it now. Wolverine is walking away from a decapitated Deadpool. He forgot to take his head with him, so it regenerates. Now going shot for shot of Tequila, that would be a fight! |

I'm a big fan of a comic called Sam & Max. I use to play the adventure game by Lucas Arts, which is based on it. Ever since, I've loved the game, the comic, and the dog-bunny duo in general. Other than that, my only other favorite comic is Dilbert. That's it. |

Dilbert! I love his look of dispair. Slumped, just staring at you thinking..."whadayagonnado?" Not familiar with Sam & Max. |

Ha, I haven't read Sam & Max in ages. I still remember the great "Sizzling Weasel on a Stick" treats though. All I tend to read is the "indie" fare, or whatever the hell you'd call it. Stuff by Chris Ware, Craig Thompson, Jason, Graham Annable (who, like Sam&Max has a new game out by Tell Tale,) Dupuy & Berberian, etc etc etc. But if you're talking newspaper type comics like Dilbert you can never look passed the pure genius of Bill Waterson and Calvin & Hobbes. |

I've heard of Craig Thompson, he's from Michigan like me. I borrowed Blankets from the library once, but never finished it. I was always a fan of Dagwood and Garfield in the newspapers. I remember when Calvin & Hobbes first came out. It was an instant hit. Family Circle kinda disappeared after that. I remember drawing C&H and saying..."wow, this is pretty simple...I can do it myself." But their writing can not be matched! |

I'm not so sure about that personally, but great pick! This is my current female, ass-kicker infatuation. Y'all should check it out if you like vampires that don't sparkle, and great story telling. Also, that hoodie ninja chick in those Honda t.v. commercials deserves her own comic. |

Not really a comic reader per se though I do have a few graphic novel tie-ins from game franchises. |

I've been enjoying Kick-Ass 2 so far. It's kind of disappointing and very different from the first comic, but I'm just glad I get to see more of the characters doing stuff. |

No, vampires aren't supposed to sparkle. It's a sad, sad image So might as well plug my fav book. Check out the preview. Warning: there's nudity, violence, and superb storytelling. |
