Who went to PAX EAST?Living on the East Coast of the US is not easy for gamers, we want to go to conventions, shows and other game related events. FINALLY Penny Arcade Expo came to the east coast and it was a raving success. I was able to attend for 2 days and love it, how many people from the IG Community went? What was your favorite game? |

I sadly was not able to find anyone from Irrational but it was a great time. It turned out to be everything I expected and more. I really loved talking to a UI dev that worked on Bioshock 2 as well, he was really insightful and a really nice guy after I talked to him about Bioshock, his work on the game, and my desire to get into the industry. All the devs were amazingly nice and really open to talk so it is certainly something I would love to do again in the future. It would great to have E3 on the east coast too! |

Did anyone play Slam Bolt Scrappers? It was on display at the Boston Indie Showcase booth and the GAMBIT booth, and it was super fun. Kotaku just gave it an awesome review: http://kotaku.com/5504009/slam-bolt-scrappers-preview-an-instant-winner |

I was there Saturday and Sunday. I really enjoyed Red Dead Revolver, seemed like we may finally get a good western game. I also thought the Naughty Dog panel was superb. I didn't get to try Crackdown 2 though, stupid line. Overall I think it was a good show, I am looking forward to next year at the Boston Convention Center. I think that is a much better venue for an event this large. Hopefully it draws more game companies to the event. |

I'm not gonna lie: seeing all that Dungeons & Dragons being played made me want to pick up the dice again. I would also put money on being able to talk IG.Seamster into trying it for the first time. I'll even give odds if there are takers. Other than that, it was great to finally meet you guys in person. I look forward to next year. |

aaaaAAAAaAA was a pretty cool game in the indie booth near Slam Bolt Scrappers, its basically a sky diving game where you need to stay next to the buildings. I also really enjoyed playing Breach. My favorite part was the 2k booth though got to play bioshock 2 with a few defs and other people, and i got to talk to a dev for a little while which was nice. Mafia 2 was a bit of a disappointed though really slow paced and load times that were longer than i have ever seen. |

I talked with the creator of the Xbox community game "Shoot1Up" for a little while. Its an old school Shoot Em Up style game. I had already purchased the game (its only $1) after hearing him talk on another podcast that I listen to. When you hear him talk about his game, you can really tell it was a labor of love to make it. I spoke to him about why the game is only a dollar. He, basically, said that he just wants to get it out to as many people as possible because he's a huge fan of Schmups and just wants to, kind of, get people interested in them again. I like people who give their fans respect and don't just try to sell us something with buzzwords. He was even more interested in speaking to me after he found out that I already had the game. Wanted to know what I thought about it, and gave me tips on racking up higher scores. That's what PAX is all about. Community. |

I was there for all three days, but spent a lot of my time waiting in line trying to get a Skate 3 deck Did anyone collect all the buttons? Were there 7 in total? I'm missing the clown And I shouted out "IG.COLLIN!!!!!!" when I passed you in the main lobby and you punked me! .... I think that deserves a clown button |

What did you have to do to get one of the Skate 3 Decks? I saw soooo many people with them on sunday. Ive never been a big fan of the series so i couldnt justify waiting in line for it but the decks certainly did look good. |

I also enjoyed the Harmonix guys tearing this rockband "expert" a new one. Dude asked if they were ever going to make the guitar have 6 frets and the guy just butts in and says. "our guitar has 10". Then they proceeded to rip him on every question after that. |
