Project Icarus?Anyone have thoughts on this project?? I read the article in GI recently and am now very curious. |

Stupid ancients and their old school smart phones. >_> The hints all seem to have a Greek Mythological theme, so either the game is to do with Greek Mythology, or Irrational are just screwing with us and using those hints since everything has to have a Greek codename. |

Considering the source, that's a pretty safe assumption. Me? I think it's SS3. Can't use the project name as any indication of the end result -- I mean, Microsoft uses names like "Longhorn" when they're working on their OSs. If it IS System Shock 3, I'd like to see it come with a level-editor and enough tools to allow for a remake of the originals. I'd definitely pay for a chance to replay SS1 with a modern look and feel. |

Obviously Project Icarus is a remake of Kid Icarus....duh In all seriousness, SS3 would be pretty sweet. |

It's a cloning device, time machine, teleporter, space suit, space ship, beta disc player and a slap chop all in one! DUH! How come I'm the only one who figured that out? Lolocaust. Seriously, I am so excited to see what it blooms into! Something magical i'd assume. |

Project Icarus....hmmm.... Maybe they got the rights to Titan Quest from THQ and are making an Action-RPG called Titan Quest 2? hehe. I doubt it. I got no clue what Irrational is up to... |

As much as I would love to see a SS3... I would really like to see Irrational come back on the scene with a new IP... They can stick to there domain of FPSRPGs... because, frankly, both the FPS and RPG genre are really tired, however, it seems like in the past, when mixing the two together, they are all a lot of fun to play. So, I guess what I am trying to say is... SS3, that'd be awesome! |

SS3 would be pretty sweet, but I'm guessing new IP. Maybe with the '____Shock' naming convention? Something tells me that if it's a brand new IP, it will stay away from that, though. Fresh start, and all that. But yeah, I'll take SS3 with a level editor! |

I thought that they were not able to make a system shock game due to the rights being owned by EA? All that is really known to this point is it will be a shooter and it will have multiplayer unlike Bioshock. I of course am only saying that because of the posts they have in the career section. |

Operation: Hermes = Project Icarus? I see it as totally possible. The new ARG may be leading up to the announcement. But, then again, this could still be a project from 2K Marin. I'm leaning towards Irrational, but we'll see what comes in the next few days. |

I would be very surprised if that is what they are working on. It appeared that the reason why they were not involved with Bioshock 2 is because they wanted to do something new and that wouldn't really be the case with a Bioshock MMO. |
