Mods, meshes and skinsSo at one time, this game had a very active modding community with literally thousands of user-created meshes, skins and full-on mods ranging from every mainstream hero you can think of to obscure old-school heroes to some pretty decent original works. Unfortunately, in the years since the game was released, a large portion of the modding sites out there have fallen into disuse. Many are filled with broken links that point to missing files or non-existent websites, which can make finding good mods a bit of a chore. Here's a few of the ones that have served me well enough, though they do sometimes still have issues with missing files and broken links: http://www.alexff.com/ - Alex's Freedom Fortress: lots of skins, meshes and "hero recipes" here. Some of the hero recipes are missing their meshes/skins, but enough info is provided to re-make the heroes using a different mesh/skin What do you have for good mod sources for this game? |

I created this portal page a while back to make it easy to find a bunch of the sites that are out there. All the yahoo groups are lumped together in their own section cause there are so many of them. |

I just got this on Steam and am loving it. I was wondering is it possible to change the skins of the characters in the campaign? I looked at the game files and it appears to be all big packs, so wasn't sure if there is an override option like neverwinter nights. thanks in advance for any help! |
