Legacy game...

Freedom Force was the first game I ever played TWICE to completion. I really loved how there were these episodic missions that eventually all tied together to make a great story. Wish we had more like it (I felt 2 was to centralized on one story, prefer the episodic).

I haven't played it in full (never owned it, only ever played it at a friends house before I became more cereal with games =P). Just noticed both games were on Steam, will by them for sure when I have money. =D

I haven't played a lot of the game yet. I bought it and Third Reich during the Steam sale and played a little bit. Really loved the style of the game. Maybe I'll work on beating it before Mass Effect 2 comes out.

Back when this game first launched it was AMAZING. It's aged sorta ok but back in the day? Hard to beat.

It aged better than most games of it's day due to the art style. It's still a blast.

I love the game so much. I've got it on Steam, and I only discovered it a few months ago and I couldn't believe I missed out on this when it first came out. Needless to say it was $8 well spent.

$8 very well spent my friend. I bought the game when it first came out at full price and I still consider that money well spent. You and everyone else who got it on Steam got the deal of a lifetime.

I actually bought this game around when it came out, simply on the premise of how it looked. I had absolutely no idea at the time that it was made by Irrational, and now that I know that I feel like I have to go back and play it through again. I don't think I fully appreciated it or even absorbed all of the content in the game my first time through.

Love this game and the sequel. In fact I've bought both of them twice now, thanks to Steam - which is good since i've long lost the cd's

I used to spend hours on the custom characters screen. For the life of me, I have no idea how I managed to create so many heroes and villains.

I say this with a huge frown on my face, I have never played it. :[ But seeing that Modern Warfare 2 forced me to get steam, I might purchase it on there.

I've long been a huge fan of these games and was delighted to see them on Steam recently (I was having trouble getting the disks to work on my newer OS).

Any pressure I can bring to bear to convince IG to make more of them...?

FF changed my life. Seriously.

Not saying for the better necessarily, but it changed nonetheless.

FF got me through a very tough time, and gave me back the confidence to believe. I love this game, and I still harbour ambitions of making a sequel to the mod I made.

I've not played this game... I am currently downloading the demo because I don't have the money for the full game just yet... I am really hoping it is as awesome I assume it will be... I shall report back with findings.

This was my introduction to Irrational Games. I still have the discs lying around for the first game, but might pick up the Steam two pack just to have them both--and a reasonable assurance that they'll run.

I stopped into a half price book store and found FF for .25 (busted jewel case, and no booklet, but the disc works!) and then found FFvsTTR for about $7 (full artwork, both discs, etc) Haven't gotten a chance to play either yet as I just barely got home (though I installed FF on my XP laptop and having compatibility issues.... may need to try it on the Win 2000 desktop).

Nevertheless, I'm happy to finally be joining the legacy portion of the forums!
